MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to everyone! You are NOT required
to be an engineer or be Hispanic to join SHPE.
There are two basic types of membership available for
our professional chapter:
- Regular. Open to all graduates
of all engineering, math, physical, applied, and
computer
science majors. Graduate students have the
option to join SHPE either as a student member or
professional member.
- Associate. Open to anyone
else who does not fit the Regular membership type.
You can join SHPE by submitting your application online
(use any of the following links) or by regular mail (PDF
application at the bottom of the page).

Membership Dues:
Regular and Associate memberships are valid for
from July 1 through June 30 of each year. Lifetime
membership is valid perpetually.
Your membership dues will support our mission mostly
in the following areas:

Funding for our annual
Scholarship Program, targeting high school
and college students from the
Central Texas region.

Funding for all of our
events (networking, professional development,
community service, etc).

To submit your application by regular mail, you can

check or money order (payable to SHPE) for the applicable
dues.
